अब लफ़्ज़ो-बयाँ सब ख़त्म हुए, अब दीदाओ-दिल का काम नहीं
अब इश्क़ है ख़ुद पैग़ाम अपना, अब इश्क़ का कुछ पैग़ाम नहीं

اب لفظوبیان سب ختم ہوئے ، اب لفظ و بیان کا کام نہں
اب عشق ہے خود پیغام اپنا، اور عشق کا کوئی پیغام نہیں

~ جگر مرادابادی

ab lafz-o-bayaan sab khatm huey, ab diidaa-o-dil kaa kaam nahiin
ab ishq hai khud paighaam apanaa, ab ishq kaa kuchh paighaam nahiin

~ Jigar Muradabadi

The words and statements have now come to an end
Now the eyes and the heart have no role to play
Now love is its message, it no longer carries a message

Reflection
When love matures and ripens, it transcends words, gestures, eyes and hearts
Freed from having to convey a message, love becomes its message.

Ishq-e-majaazii
When two people reach an evolved stage of love and trust in their relationship, they no longer need words and gestures to convey their feelings to each other. Their love transcends their identities and becomes a thing of joy.

Ishq-e-haqiiqii
When the seeker attains self-realisation, he is no longer bound by conventions, rituals, outward signs of devotion, etc. He has dismantled his mundane identity and experiences oneness with the supreme self.
