RNHA Statement regarding Passover and Holy Week 2011

Lakeland, FL-     The Republican National Hispanic Assembly observes the commencement of Passover. National Chairman Alci Maldonado stated: “Passover has commenced, and to all of our Jewish members and friends of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly, as you participate in the Seder, may our Lord’s blessings be upon you and your families. Happy Passover from the Republican National Hispanic Assembly. To our Christian members and friends, Christianity was born during Passover as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ celebrated the Last Supper before his crucifixion, death and Resurrection. May this Holy Week be one of contemplation of the mystery of God’s love for a lost world, a love that surpasses human understanding that the Almighty would sacrifice his only begotten Son for a lost world. What wondrous love is this!”
