Happy New Year Richmond Neighbors and Friends:
We have several guests from the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) coming to our February 9 meeting to discuss safety issues and potential mitigation strategies for Cesar Chavez. Councilor Tiffany Koyama Lane has confirmed attendance at our meeting, and other District 3 City Councilors may attend, or they may send staff to hear this discussion.. There will be time for Q & A. If participating on Zoom, please register for the meeting on this LINK or the link embedded in the attached agenda or on our website www.richmondpdx.org.
We will also briefly discuss our January Board retreat -- the board spent an evening of socializing and re-grouping. We revisited our neighborhood priorities survey and determined which of our goals were met in 2025, and where we might want to focus our attention in 2026.
Our board is a group of dedicated volunteers, doing our best to respond to the needs & concerns of our neighbors, through collaboration, best practices and communication. We hope we serve you well. I hope that some of you will consider joining our Board or Committees in 2026! Looking forward to seeing our neighbors and friends at our in person/Zoom meeting on Monday, February 9 at 7 pm.
