The Rhode Island Student Climate Coalition wants you to know about our option for students and young people to attend "Carbon Nation" for FREE!

In case you haven't heard, the Conservation Law Foundation and ClimateCounts.org are hosting the Rhode Island premiere of "Carbon Nation" at RISD's Metcalf Auditorium (20 North Main St.). It is to be held THIS MONDAY, October 25 at 6pm. Here's a link to more information on the evening: http://www.clf.org/carbonnation/

Following, there will be a panel and a reception with local businesses discussing their climate solutions. Moderated by environmental journalist Peter Lord, the panel is:
-Seth Kaplan, VP for Policy and Climate Advocacy, Conservation Law Foundation
-Sunshine Menezes, PhD, Executive Director, The Metcalf Institute for Marine and Environmental Reporting at University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography
-Michael Roles, Co-Coordinator, Rhode Island Student Climate Coalition

The general public is being charged a 20-dollar online registration fee (25 dollars at the door), and a 5-dollar registration fee (10 dollars at the door) for general students, but the hosts are allowing us to send youth and students for free, but ONLY if you register on this form!

Again, here is the link to the registration form: https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dHprVVJGaWVjQXUxaFFHdExTa0c1WWc6MQ

So fill it out if you will, and we'll see you this Monday!
