The RI Student Climate Coalition invites you to join us this Monday, 8 November. Take your seat at the table with US Senator Sheldon Whitehouse at 6:30 in RISD’s Tap Room (266 Benefit Street, Providence, 02901).  Senator Whitehouse, an important ally for climate policy and clean energy advocates in the US Senate, will forecast what to expect out of Washington now that Dirty Fuel and Big Oil controls the House of Representatives, and help us determine what we can do to ensure that Washington goes back to work on a clean energy future.  If you plan to go, please register here.

Join the RI Student Climate Coalition at our tree-planting this Sunday at 1:30 pm at Nathanael Greene Middle School (721 Chalkstone Ave., Providence).  We’ll be planting two adorable little trees that will provide shade for decades to come.  Afterward, join us for a short strategy session as we visualize the end of the semester along with the beginning of next year.
