At the fieldwork seminar a few weeks ago, I mentioned a few field
opportunities and websites and promised to post them. So, here they
are!

OPPORTUNITIES
-URI Belize trip (see previous post)

-URI underwater archaeology field school in Bermuda taught by Prof.
Rod Mater at URI (I will post more info. if/ when available)

-U Conn fieldschool (Prof. Kevin McBride); in the past students in the
UConn fieldschool were offered employment doing CRM through the
Mashantucket Pequot Museum after the field school ended; I am not
certain if it will be happening again this year, but will post more
info if/when available

WEBSITES:
Some of these are focused on field schools (typically you have to pay,
but receive course credit), while others are volunteer opportunities.
Others list CRM (cultural resource management) jobs; you typically
need to have completed a field school or other field training to be
qualified for these. If you know of other good websites for finding
fieldwork, please post!
