Dear Fellow PTA members,
I have closed the discussion regarding the dues. I think an anonymous survey might not really give us any answers as to the right contribution for membership. The PTA, as always, will try to set the amount of dues low as possible while meeting our objectives.
The PTA is planning a quarter auction fundraiser for early next year (2013) instead of a Basket Bingo. We are in need of supplies for this. We will need at least 500-600 paint stir sticks. Can anyone donate any of them to the PTA? These will be used as auction paddles. We will also need to make something like a raffle drum to draw the numbers out of. Might you have a drum/cylinder that is sturdy - plastic or heavy cardboard, that is hollow but has a solid top and bottom? Measuring about 15+ inches in length and at least 8" in diameter? Maybe an empty cat litter tub, or popcorn tin? Please reply with details to RHR...@gmail.com. THANK YOU!!
