Committee Members needed!

[Red House Run PTA]

Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your summer!  Your PTA officers and committee chairs (of the Fundraiser, Membership, Ice Cream Social, Room Parent, and Quarter Auction) have already been at work planning for this year's activities.   We need YOU to help out!  Would you like to be on a committee?  Chair or co-chair a committee?  It's not too early to express interest in helping out!  We will have board meetings over the summer prior to school start (a couple), and committee chairs are board members as well as the officers.  

To learn more about becoming a committee member or chair, please visit our website here - http://rhrpta.yolasite.com/help-needed.php and select which commitee(s) you'd like to be a member of.   Then, just express interest here on the group, or via private email to Mars...@gmail.com or April at mommyt...@yahoo.com.  We will be sure to put you on the committee(s) you are interested in.  There is NO LIMIT to number of committees you can be on, nor is there a limit to number of members can be in any one particular committee.  

YOU have a voice in YOUR PTA - let everyone HEAR it!!  Please give some time and your ideas - to your PTA!

Fabulous!!  Thank you so much!  Until we can get more committee members for one or both events, we will need you to assume the role of Chair (that can later change as its up to all the committee members themselves to decide who will lead from the chair position, I believe). Don't worry about doing it all yourself.   I'm sure others will chime in, and you have April and I to guide and help you. :-).  

You may for Fall Fest begin preparations by calling around to secure about 450-500 small-medium sized pumpkins, find out who has them and how much they will cost, can they deliver them to school, etc. 

And for Movie Night w/Santa - well, we should have a Santa suit in the PTA closet, but no one to fill it!   Think about someone active at school (would have to get the annual volunteer training) who could be a jolly Santa for the kids.
