Board of Directors Mtg Thursday

[Red House Run PTA]

There will be a brief board meeting this Thursday at 7 pm at Panera Golden Ring. All are welcomed to attend, but voting on business will be by board members only. The Board Consists of Officers and Committee Chairs. The meeting is necessary to have a quorum so that brief business can be done regarding approving various Plan of Works, and the fundraiser related contracts so that the president may sign them and set things in place for the beginning of the school year.

Any member can join a committee at any time, even if they do not wish to chair it. But if they do decide to chair, and are approved by the board, then they will also sit on the board for purposes of voting on official PTA business.

I've heard that some members are planning on having dinner at Panera at 6 pm and socializing before the meeting.

OH MY GOSH! I thought I was going to be okay for this Thursday, but forgot that I am working at the Harford Co Fairgrounds Thursday evening. Any chance that another evening is an option?

I'm sorry that you can't be there, Heather.  Mike is also unable to go due to vacation.  :-(.  But if we tried to schedule around everyone, it is not likely that we will get a date which will assure that all can attend.  And to keep rescheduling just messes everyone up on the dates.   So we will still attempt to have a meeting with quorum, this Thursday.  I apologize for the short notice, but it is necessary to attend to some business ASAP so we will be ready in August.  If we cannot conduct business at this Thursday meeting, then we will be forced to reschedule.   I'll keep everyone updated ASAP because April doesn't have all hours access to her email for now.

We really need to get a quorum to vote on the fundraiser AND other event. Is there ANY way we can all meet even for 15minutes?? If we can't meet, this is really going to put us behind the 8ball even more and we will be scrambling in August. realize that school starts in 5weeks from today!!!

 

My email is back up but running funky. (ignore goofy oil coupon email if attached to this, unless you can use it.)

 

I am free every weeknight after 6pm this week and the weekend is open right now. I will drive whereever, whenever just to get this done. Can I get some help from everyone, please???????

YAY!!!! I have great news! I CAN make it Thursday night! Managed to switch up with another Pampered Chef Consultant for the fair! I'll be there Saturday night instead! :) See you at 6pm at Panera for dinner and the meeting following!
