What's New in Runnymeade

    Our First RUNNYMEADE OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT will be held Saturday, June 4, at 7:45 - 10:00 pm, at nature's stadium (in the common area behind homes on Castletown Way, Heatherwood Ct, and Heatherwood Dr) and will feature Toy Story 3!  Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.  This is free to all, and everyone is welcome. RUNNYMEADE'S ANNUAL COMMUNITY YARD SALE is Saturday, June 11, 8 am - 12 noon, on ALL STREETS in Runnymeade.  All residents may participate.  Runnymeade is taking an ad in the Washington Post and will also promote the Yard Sale on Craigslist.  If you have specific items you would like us to mention on Craigslist, please contact Pat Mahoney at p-ail...@msn.com.  Attached is a flyer you can send to your family and friends to promote the Yard Sale.  We will have signs throughout the community, but you are free to add your own signs.  We will also have the banner that you see on the attached flyer, which is definitely eye-catching.  For more information, contact Brian Kirby at bkirb...@gmail.com.

 

Also on Saturday, June 11, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm is the Annual Open House for the RUNNYMEADE COMMUNITY LIBRARY at the Library on High Meadow Island. 
The Open House overlaps with the Yard Sale, so you can stop by and grab a cup of coffee and morning treat, grab a free book, and/or donate a book and still have plenty of time to shop or sell at the Yard Sale.

RUNNYMEADE'S ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING is Thursday, June 23, 2016.  All homeowners should have received a formal notice of the meeting in the mail.  If you are a homeowner and you have not received a mailing giving notice of this meeting, please contact Sarinda Ly at Jeffrey Charles & Associates at 703-924-5900 or sar...@jeffreycharles.com . 

In light of all the Runnymeade activities and events in June, we will not hold a Neighbor's Night Out in June.  Stay tuned for info on our July Neighbors Night Out and our National Night Out Celebration in August.

RUNNYMEADE ON FACEBOOK: Our Runnymeade Facebook Group is growing. We are now up to 236 members! If you are a Facebook member but have not yet joined our closed group, you should consider doing so. It is an active group where timely and useful information is regularly exchanged.  Search for the group on Facebook by name: Runnymeade Homeowners Association.   Note: This is a closed group for Runnymeade homeowners and residents. If you would like to join, please make sure your request reflects your connection to Runnymeade.
