| Our University of Illinois-Chicago Undergraduate chapter hosted their Candygrams Fundraiser this February to raise money for NLVS health, education, and service efforts. The Chancellor of UIC also stopped by the fundraiser to make a donation! It is thanks to the support of everyone that NLVS continues to grow. The chapter also represented NLVS at their winter involvement fair. We are excited to welcome our new volunteers and look forward to furthering the NLVS mission of helping serve those in need together! |

| The New Life Volunteering Society is excited to announce our annual Global Health Trip in partnership with Global Brigades. This year, we will be sending students from Chicagoland/Midwest medical schools and undergraduate institutions to Panama from July 4th to 10th. This trip will provide students with the opportunity to offer medical care to underserved communities, gain hands-on clinical experience, conduct a research project to present at our Annual Global Health Conference in the fall, and explore a new country while making a meaningful impact. NLVS values trips like these as they allow us to continue our mission of serving the underserved not just locally and nationally, but internationally as well. Global Brigades has been a strong partner in the past, providing well-organized and impactful experiences for our students. |

About Us
NLVS is a not-for-profit Chicago based organization. Our mission is to improve the lives of others through community service, education and healthcare. In addition to running a free health clinic on Saturdays in partnership with the IAMA Charitable Foundation, NLVS volunteers serve in many other capacities throughout Chicago, as well as nationally and internationally. We host free tutoring services, volunteer at food pantries, and have trips both nationally and abroad to offer free medical care and assist with disaster relief.
