Beacon Place Tutoring/Mentoring Opportunity

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share an exciting new volunteering opportunity in the local North Chicago community! NLVS is partnering with Beacon Place to offer tutoring and mentoring for students, as well as assistance with special events.

Program Details (Winter/Spring):
📅 Days: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
⏰ Times:
Monday & Wednesday: 3:45 - 5:30 PM (sessions start at 4 PM)
Saturday: 8:45 - 11:30 AM (sessions start at 9 AM)
Volunteers arrive early to help with preparation
Classroom setting: 2 volunteers will assist with lesson plans for 5th/6th graders

This is a great way to give back to the community and make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
