This is the woman who encourages shooting bears and shooting wolves from
the air, offering a $150 bonus for a wolf's left foreleg. In her
administration the state spent $400,000, added to $700,000 from the
so-called "Sporting" group Safari International, to defeat a state
referendum seeking to ban this vicious practice.
