Charter President

President Kshama Gangoli,

I am in Rotary for 22 years and I have seen closely  many ups and downs at the Club and District level.     I feel that time has come now for me to quit Rotary considering my age and health. No doubt, recent happenings in the Club since last six months have hastened my decision. I no longer enjoy Rotary meetings, other programs and dinners. Rotary has suddenly become unfamiliar entity. My decision is taken after considerable thinking and is final. I will appreciate if it is accepted immediately. Regards,

Dear Rtn. Jayant,
Its a shocking decision. If your health is not good, you can take brake for some months. You need not attend meetings, projects etc.
You are being a Charter President of our club, we expect you to take lead if the things are not taking place. We are well matured enough to discuss and resolve any issues/problems.
My self and Rtn.Rekha earniestly requst you to review your decision in the interest of  the club.
With Kind regards,
Rtn. Nana and Rekha

Dear Pradeep and Rekha,

I have taken the decision after careful consideration. Any separation is painful and i am also feeling terribly depressed. However let me stick to my decision. I am thankful to you both for your views.

Dear Kshama,

I am indeed sorry that my action has caused such great pain to you. I realize pains of being the President and how much discouraging and disappointing a senior member's resignation could be at the start of the year. I beg your pardon for the same. Anjali is sorry that we hurt you as you are the most favourite President.

We wish to be left alone away from love and hate relations of Rotary. With all respect to you as person and as President, please do not ask us to continue.

Jayant

Dear Jayant,

I am shocked and pained at receiving your mail. I do not understand how can you even think of resigning from the club that you founded. May be you have some complaints but we need to discuss them. If you feel hurt in any way we can find a way to repair the damage.  I found the mail so disturbing that even I decided to give up the presidentship even if it leads to disolving the club. I think you should wait till we discuss this matter. I am not making this resignation public as yet till we meet. I am waiting for Raos to return. Till then I request you hold your resignation in abeyance. I am trying to change the things at the club by involving all members. Many members like chaudharies, Dixits, khurjekars, Kubers are taking lot of interest and working with great vigour. So I find you mail very discouraging and disappointing. I urge you to reconsider your unfortunate decision.
