Mental Health Fact of the week: Mental illnesses are more common than cancer, diabetes, or heart disease.
SENIORS: Seniors if you are going to the prom you must hand in your white guest forms and purple table forms ASAP.
MR. GUGLIERI: To all Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman: Voting for class officers will take place through mybigcampus. The polls will open at 12 PM today and stay open until 11:59 PM Friday night. Any questions see Mr. Guglieri in room 359.
STUDENT COUNCIL: The Class Olympics is tomorrow! See your class officers to sign up. All students, plan to stay after school and see some Ketcham History! The Olympics begin tomorrow at 2:30pm in the gym. Bring your school spirit and we will see you there.
ATTENDANCE OFFICE:
Students attending the Senior Prom must be in attendance until the end of 3rd period on Prom Day.
A list indicating those attending the prom will be published and only those on the list will be given an early dismissal for the reason of attending the prom if so requested. You must bring in a note from your parent/guardian granting permission to leave school that day. Your note must include your name, ID #, grade, time of dismissal, and a telephone number where your parent/guardian can be reached.
Notes must be dropped off in the Attendance Office before Friday, May 30, 2014. No notes will be accepted after this date. No note means no pass to leave early on Prom Day.
Absolutely no telephone calls will be accepted requesting early dismissal.
Duplicate passes will not be issued.
Early dismissal passes will be handed out on Friday, June 13th in the Downstairs Main Lobby from 6:45 am to 7:15 am.
HEALTH OFFICE: If you are scheduled for a physical and have not been screened, please come down today to do so!
National Honor Society:
All 11th grade members of NHS need to stop by today to see Ms. Sutton in Room 206 or Ms. Murray in Room 201 to pick up an important document
Eleventh grade members of the National Honor Society are meeting Monday, June 2 in the cafeteria to learn about summer community service opportunities and to sign up for those opportunities. Additionally, there will be an hour long training for the Asian Festival to held July 5. Twelfth grade members of the NHS are holding a separate meeting in the same room.
Literary Magazine:
Odyssey Literary Magazine will meet today in the Computer Lab, Room 212.
LIBRARY: ALL library books are due back by Friday, May 30th.
Interact: If you are going to tonight's Installation Dinner, please hand in your money to Mrs. Glancey in Room 255 or at our meeting today.
SPORTS PHYSICALS :
The Health Office is now conducting physicals for fall sports. If you wish to play a fall sport, please stop by the nurse's office today to schedule your physical!
Fall sports begin on August 18th. Be sure to stop by the nurse's office to sign up for a physical - today!
GUIDANCE:
Attention Seniors
If you are in the top 10% of the class, plan on majoring in a Science, Technology, Engineering or a Math field, (either Associate or Bachelor's degree) at a SUNY or CUNY college beginning in the Fall of 2014, you may be eligible for a full tuition scholarship. Information is available in the guidance office. Deadline to apply is August 15, 2014.
Attention Sophomores and Juniors:
The Chamber Foundation of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Youth Leadership Program. This is a 2 year leadership development program designed to develop academic, social and life skills of students through leadership experiences outside the classroom. Applications and information are available in the guidance office. Deadline to apply is June 13, 2014.

SPORTS:
Baseball beat Arlington last night in the semi-finals 9-4 and are in the Section Championship game against Fox Lane on Saturday at 4:00pm at Boulder Stadium in Rockland.

Softball plays at Home today vs Suffern at 4:30pm in the section semi-final game.
This is the final home game of all sports this year.
CONTINUING ED: The Driver Ed office is currently accepting registrations for the two Summer Driver Ed sessions. Please go to the Wappingers website and click on the link on the left for Driver Education to get more information, dates and registration forms.
