TODAY IS DAY 4
ATTENDANCE: Senior Prom 2008. Students who will be attending the
Senior Prom must bring in their early dismissal notes to the
Attendance Office before May 2, 2008. No notes will be accepted after
that date. The note must include your name, your ID#, the time you
are leaving, and a phone # where a parent/guardian can be reached.
Your name must also appear on the list of students attending the prom.
Phone calls requesting Early Dismissal will not be accepted.
SENIOR CLASS: Attention Seniors! Today a representative from Jostens
will be here for the last time to take cap and gown orders for
graduation. The cost is $25.50 and he will be here during lunch
periods in the cafeteria. Please see Mr. Townsend or Ms. Frangione in
the Guidance Office with any questions.
AFS: Attention AFS members: The car wash scheduled for Sunday has
been cancelled due to the weather. We will have our next meeting
Wednesday, May 7th at 2:00pm.
GIRLS TRACK: Congratulations to the girls track team on their huge
win over John Jay yesterday 96 1/2 to 76 ½ especially Kelly Grogan for
winning the pole vault and setting a new school record of 8 ft 10in.
Also to Chelsea Cormier for winning the 100m and 200m dash, Erin
Jedlicka for winning the 3000m run, Christina Ogunti for winning the
triple jump, Jacie Harkins for winning the 100 hudles and the 400
hudles, and to the relay team of Chelsea Cormier, Steph Torres,
Christina Ogunti and Imani Thompson. Finally to Sara Laperche for
her effort in the 200m run. Great job ladies.
BOYS TRACK AND FIELD: Alec Charley, Eric Mimnaugh, Shawn Gannon,
Jason Cowell, Collins Ofori, and Craig Harkins took first place in
their events against John Jay yesterday. The 400 Meter Relay Team of
Jon Anderson, Emmanuel Ofori, Kaijage Stambuli, and Alec also took
first place. Mohammad Kazim and Alex Gilchrist placed second. Great
job guys.
HEALTH OFFICE: The Health office is scheduling appointments for fall
sports physicals.
If you plan to participate in a fall sport stop by the Health office
today.
