Hello everyone,

I am encountering a persistent issue in RSWAT v4.01 (Shiny) when using a SWAT+ project.

When I click “Check input table” in Parameter sampling, I always get the error:

Error: Cannot find the selected parameter in the cal_parms.cal file

This happens even for a single parameter and after extensive checks.

Details:
  • SWAT+ project (SWAT+ rev. 61.0.x)

  • RSWAT version: v4.01

  • Operating system: Windows

  • Parameter file: cal_parms.cal generated by SWAT+ Editor v3.x

What I have verified / tried:
  1. The parameter name is exactly identical to the name column in cal_parms.cal (e.g. cn2).

  2. The correct object type is used (e.g. cn2 → hru).

  3. I tested with only one parameter (cn2) in the table.

  4. I removed the descriptive first line from cal_parms.cal (the “written by SWAT+ editor …” line).

  5. I restarted RSWAT and reloaded the project.

  6. I also tested a cleaned, tab-delimited version of cal_parms.cal (no fixed-width formatting).

  7. The error persists in all cases.

Please see also the attache file.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

With kind regards,
Majid
