Assistance Needed for Crop Calibration

Hi Tam,

I hope you're doing well.

I'm currently working on adjusting R-SWAT for crop calibration and need some guidance. Specifically, I want to select the crop calibration and set observation data based on yearly conditions for parameter sampling. Note - I calibrated the flow. 

Could you please help me with the steps and file needed to execute to accomplish this in R-SWAT? I think one file is crop/plant.dat.

For example, I have yearly yield data for Turnips measured in tons per hectare (t/ha).

Note: I have already calibrated the flow.

Could you please help me with the steps to accomplish this in R-SWAT?

Hi Kamal,

Did you manage to resolve this? I am trying to do this but seeing no change in the yield. The few things i have worked out so far:

- make sure to use dry weight for yield as this is what SWAT+ (and SWAT) uses. This necessitates using moisture content.

- there are 2 .plt paramters in cal-parms file. i tried to add a few more so i can edit these too but am not sure if they work.

- Even when i stick to the original paramters (epco, harv_idx, lai_pot) i still see no change in yield.

If you have managed to get this to work, please let me know.
