Hello,

I am running a SWAT model that has an output.wtr file. Specifically, I will want to calibrate the WETVOLm^3 column using some in situ data that I have. When I go to 'Define model outputs for extraction', it seems that output.wtr is not an available option. Is there a way to include this file (output.wtr) in this step?

Thank you for your assistance,
Wayana

Hello Tam and others,

Thank you for your help. I was able to setup the userReadSwatOutput.R file to generate biweekly averaged observations of WETVOLm^3 for each subbasin (that is the format of my corresponding in situ data) from each model run's ouput.wtr file. However, when I go to run SWAT, I get the error "[SPS-ERROR] 2025-04-02 14:35:35.014772 line 415953 did not have 44 elements". This error occurs whether I am using 1 core or multiple cores.

I know that between the weird timestep (biweekly) and the unusual variable (wetland storage) this is maybe an unusual problem...but I'm wondering if anyone has run into this error before. I've included photos of the parameter sampling section and the run swat section. I can't share online, but I can also email a zip file of the TextInOut folder, the userReadSwatOutput.R file, and my RSWATproject.rds file if that is helpful.

Thank you :)

A bit more information - It runs just fine if I don't try to calibrate everything pictured above except one of the .pnd file parameters (WET_K). I tried changing the min and max a bit to see if that was the issue, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
