Good day,

When I use RSWAT, I get as far as the point where you then click to Run SWAT. The process begins ('Running SWAT...' box pops up at the bottom right of the screen) but does not run to completion, even if I leave it for many hours. It also does not create the 'CurrentSimulationReport.log' in my Output folder for me to check the running progress. It just continues running indefinitely... Has anyone experienced something similar or know how I could fix this issue? I would be very grateful to receive any guidance.

Thanks and kind regards,
Hannah

Dear Hannah,

I have exactly the same problem, but I have not found any solutions yet, so I would also be happy if someone could help. No error messages either.

Best regards
Zsolt

if you run SWAT+, this could be because some of the parameters get negative values and SWAT+ does not report anything, it just pause ... forever. You could check this by click to the SWAT+ executable directly in the TxtInOut_1 folder in your working folder to see

Dear Tam,

indeed the SWAT+ keeps running at the date 2016-03-01, with all the parameter sets. I have checked the input climatic  time series, and there were no negative values there. Do you have an idea, how to investigate the source of the problem?

Best regards
Zsolt

could you try to run SWAT+ directly in your txtinout folder (just clicking the swat+ executable file in that folder and see)?

I did run it there, it stucked at the mentioned date without an error message. I rewrote the input files in SWAT editor, and then it successfully ran. Now I had the problem that I had run the project 16 times for sensitivity analysis and all gave the same results (-3.26) in terms of NSE, even if the parameters changed. please see attached figure. Can you please assist on this one?

" I did run it there, it stucked at the mentioned date without an error message..." could be because your parameter is negative (due to your parameter range that you defined in RSWAT is out of the physical range)

"Constant NSE" please see older posts possible solutions, if it still does not help, please  share the txtinout folder with me I will check

Hi,

Please share how you reworked the input files?

Mary
