Hi all,

I have filled up the information (as attached) in the general setting section. However, I get this error message when trying to run SWAT:  task 1 failed - "cannot open the connection" . Highly appreciated if anyone could suggest a solution or guidance on this matter.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,
Even

Hi

I am facing the same issue. When I do manual calibration, it does not give me any results, just this error message. However, when applying automatic calibration, it provides the parameter samples and the objective function values for each but displays the error as well. Moreover, the working folder is kept empty; no new files are created in it, and the code does not create the CurrentSimulationReport.log file.

It would be great if you could help us with this.

could you check in the working folder: "TxtInOut_1" folder if the output file exists and there is data in the column that you extract?

Just for example, if you extract from file "channel_sd_day.txt" at column number 48, then you check if this file exists and there are more than 48 columns of data inside this file

Hi Tam,

Yes, the column I'm extracting exists in the output folder.

Solved! (attached please see the response from Asselabde)

"Hi Tam,
Sorry, I just saw your email.
I managed to run the code (calibration) successfully. I deleted the project folder and ran it again with fewer parameters, from around 12 to 7, and it ran.
I assumed that the problem would be my device's memory. Now I managed to generate 100 iterations successfully, while at the beginning I was trying with only 5 iterations with 5 cores.
Thank you for your support."
