Quill and Sword Medieval Club: Yule Ball, Dec. 4

For all of you who don't regularly attend Club or get the weekly email, this is the official Yule Ball Announcement!

~YULE BALL~

Saturday, Dec. 4

6-7pm Medieval Dance Instruction

     This is when we will be teaching a few of the more difficult dances, so you can get a feel for them.

7-11pm Yule Ball

     We will have a mix of modern and medieval music, as well as a performance by the Musician's Guild and singing of Christmas Carols.

     Medieval dances will be taught as we go along, so everyone can join in.

Refreshments will be provided.

Please dress in semi-formal or medieval garb if you have it.

ADMISSION IS FREE WITH A DONATION OF A NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEM.

This is a care week event and we are collecting food for the Provo Food Bank.

This is going to be a lot of fun and we hope to see lots of you there!

Hello Julia et.al.;

If you want medieval garb and have none, I might be able to set you up; my sister is a costumer and has several rental items (usually the cost of cleaning/repairs, so anywhere from $15 to $35, depending on how tricky the cleaning/repairs might be.) Male/female, peasant-nobility/royalty (and the occasional Religious Order, though they probably would have frowned on dancing....)
