Your QuickDraw January Update: Daily Through 2011

Hello folks,

Three weeks in and I've done 29 comics in 27 days (& two extra in
Cambodian). That's what, 336 to go? Piece of cake.

(Suck on that, professional webcartoonists. Three days a week,
five days a week?

The most popular comics so far seem to be the ones on the
Astrology/Astronomy silliness

I'm enjoying myself all too much, to the point where I'm putting a
lot more effort in than I expected. I guess I always did enjoy
shooting my fool mouth off. If anything, I'm GAINING energy, and
sparing more time for drawing.

I can't however guarantee perfection, and that's in the eye of
the beholder anyway. Some days it will be a scribble, other times a
fully realized color essay. I do have a full-time job and plenty of
commitments. But then, QuickDraw has always existed between the
margins of many real and imagined boundaries.

readers. A lot seem to be spiraling in via FaceBook and Twitter.

reviewing sites, I'm not sure how much stock to put in them, but I'll

One of the things that will definitely keep me scribbling:

Off to India for a comics consultancy next week. It'll be
interesting to upload from the road, and I've pre-emptively sorted
some backup strips to ensure we supply your daily dose.
