SUMMARY: The San Francisco Human Rights Commission announced that a
popular gay nightclub discriminated against African-American customers,
in violation of local civil rights codes.

popular gay nightclub discriminated against African-American customers,
in violation of local civil rights codes.
The 10-month investigation claimed the club Badlands, which is located
in San Francisco's predominantly gay Castro neighborhood, required
African-Americans to present multiple forms of identification and
observe a stricter dress code.
