As we reach the heat of the summer, there are many things going on in the Queen City Wheels. Here are a few times for this week...

MONDAY
The Kids On Bikes Program kicks of for a summer of training is racing for our youth. You'll be able to see their progress at the PuR Tour on August 2nd and then again in the fall as the Cyclocross season kicks off.

TUESDAY
The first half of the season has been great for the Cleves Time Trial Series with over 100 different riders testing themselves in this "Race Of Truth". We have had many little competitions going on each week with the Wimberg/Murdock battle for the top spot, the 50-59 age group clawing their way to faster and faster times and all of the triathletes who have been coming out to support one another and improve their game.

This week, Rick Hoeting will be bringing our inventory of QCW jerseys, shorts, gloves, etc. to the Time Trial to purchase first hand. If you have been considering getting a QCW kit, this would be a great time to do so. Remember, you can race in any QCW event for free if you wear the complete kit, and the PuR Tour is coming up soon.

WEDNESDAY
25 Years of Racing in the Park has been showing us why it has been so strong for so many years. The level of excitement and competition has been extraordinary this year, and with this being the last week for the series, I can't imagine it backing off now. Come out and race or pack up the family to watch for the last time this year.

All of these event and other events can be found on our website at www.QCW.org.
