Hello Everyone,

I am writing on behalf of the Ultimate Frisbee committee from the American School of Dubai. 

Every year we host a competitive ultimate frisbee tournament for the teams from around the region. This  would be the 11th edition of the tournament. We usually have 10-12 teams competing for the trophy: few teams from Dubai, a team from Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, KSA, Muscat, and the Barbarians (team of players with no team). 

We have 4 large grass (not turf) fields at our disposal and every last Friday of January (26 Jan 2018) we try to make the most of them. 

MORE DETAILS:

Date:                            Friday, January 26th, 2018.  

Where:                         American School of Dubai

Team Entry Fee:          AED 150 per player - includes DUCE disc and other goodies. 

Team size:                   Max 28 players.  Players may only play for one team.

Free Agents:                We have limited space for 'free agent" players. Please have players not assigned to your team who would like to play email duce@asdubai.org. They will be assigned to the Arabian Gulf team (condition to enough participants signing up).

Gender:                        Minimum 2 female players on the field at all times.

Format:                         Round-robin pools followed by elimination games.  

YOU have been identified as a potential captain or a team organizer from your region. We need your feedback. Please let us know if you are interested in signing up a full team for the tournament so we can accordingly schedule the tournament programme.
