I so I removed an older version of Python 3.8 from the MS Store and installed the Python 3.9 from the MS Store.

I installed Pyscripter but it will not find the Python 3.9 install. Again, it's from the MS Store.

It does show up in the setting to tell it where it is, but for some reason it can't find it.

I also rebooted the computer.

I tried copying the actual directory and setting it, but then Pyscripter says I need all these permission. I was trying to fool it into find it.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Could you please uninstall python and install again  using an installer from python.org?
Does that work?

Okay, so I left the MS Office Python app installed. I downloaded the latest 3.9 from the Python.org download site and installed it.

I ran your editor, and it indicates that it found this one. I'll uninstall the MS App Python.
