When I installed the  x64 package I was asked for admin credentials but was not given the opportunity to install for all users. I think this is why when I start pyscripter as a normal user I'm told that the remote engine is not available because I don't have write access to the install directory so remserver.py cannot be written. Is there a way to force writing to %APPDATA%?
Thanks

You can use the registry-free installation if you have write-permission issues with %APPDATA%.   The registry-free installation is self-contained.  Nothing is written outside the program directory.
