exe made by pyinstaller runs only in its dist directory

Hello guys,

I made a Python applications that runs on a PC running Windows and I packaged it using pyinstaller. The application is a windowed application. The point is:

-  if run the application from the folder used by pyinstaller it works

- if I copy the application and every other file it needs on a different folder it starts but suddenly stops before to open the GUI.

And I do not understand what went wrong.

Any help will be very appreciated,
