I'd love to see pure available via bower.  I tried bower register pure https://github.com/pure/pure.git but that didn't work.  Here's what bower said is required:

to register a new package, there must be a valid manifest JSON in the current working directory, your package must be available at a Git endpoint (e.g., GitHub), and it should use semver Git tags.
It looks like you have a json manifest.  It seems like whatever is needed to make pure registerable via bower should be trivial.

Any help in making this happen would be great!

If someone is familiar with this.
Feel free to fork the repo, and make a pull request, to add the necessary properties in the JSON.

Thanks.
