Subject: A Competition for your JUG
To: John De Goes <
jo...@n-brain.net>
Hi,
My apologies if you receive this message more than once -- I wasn't
sure which e-mail address to use.
I'd like to invite your Java User Group (JUG) to participate in a
competition my company is hosting, called the Hydra Versus Dragon
Coding Competition (
http://www.n-brain.net/hydra-versus-dragon.htm).
This competition is for Java software developers only, and pits teams
of developers against each other in a friendly competition to win more
than $8000 in prizes (like a Mac Book Pro, an iPhone, and a vacation
to Boulder, Colorado, USA). All members of the winning team receive
the full stack of prizes, and everyone else receives free software
valued at $1800.
I encourage your entire Java User Group to work together on a single
solution for the Qualification Challenge (in which case, everyone
would be qualified to participate in the competition). It's a fun way
to develop team skills and improve everyone's mastery of low-level
Java systems programming.
Should any of your members end up competing, I'd be happy to donate
free licenses to our product (UNA - One Shot License) to everyone in
your JUG.
If you have any questions, write me at
jo...@n-brain.net. And if you
don't think your JUG members would be interested in this competition,
then please just disregard this message.
