I'm particularly intrigued by efforts to use crowdsourcing to info
journalism stories. I'm thinking of some of the work WNYC's Brian
Lehrer Show has done (i.e. milk price gouging). Would love to learn
about more examples of crowdsourcing and get some boots on the ground/
hands on ideas for harnessing the power of people.

I would love to get more information on the wonderful "Ready to Learn"
resources and other educational services so that I can share them in
sessions, meeting etc. with my parents. I think that as Teacher Librarians
we can use our role to help connect our school wide communities, PTA's
etc. to public medias.

Also, how can Teacher Librarians, Instructional Technology Teachers and
Computer Technology Specialists provide the training that our students
desperately need in how to navigate and properly use the technologies that
are available to them. I'm thinking of such topics as copyright laws,
plagiarism, safe and appropriate social networking (net-tiquette), school
broadcasting ( local school in our district have morning shows etc.).

Really looking forward to the un-conference!
