screenshots from our old old old Friday night campaign that a few of
you all were in. :)

... more as I dig them up and post them. :) I still play Janice and
Lyly on Electrum, and a Demon Lord just dredged up some images from
Janice's memories. thought I'd share with people. :)

That's way before I joined (and subsequently left) your group.
But it looks like it was a cool campaign.

But speaking of past campaigns - I just popped in to ask about that
written-up finale for Project Twilight, since I haven't seen it yet.

You know, what was that grey-haired woman and the company really up
to?
What was special about the PCs that they were specifically chosen
instead of actual scientist types from the company?
What was with that hermit guy in the 'desert' area?
What happened about the town/city we were in being stuck in another
dimension?
What was up with the robed-cult-guys?
What was the deal with Becky's father?

All that stuff. :)

You have contacted the right person, Purple. :-)

Thanks for the nudge. I don't check the forums as often as I'd like to, but it's good to hear that there is some interest in the Super Hero genre for NWN.

Heh, this place needs as off-topic thread. :)
Anyways, I'm sure you all know, update 1.69 is out, as is CEP 2.1, so
naturally the D20mm team is working on update 1.4.

So while we're getting started on it; now is the time to mention any
bugs that need addressing or any new content that you really want
included in the next update (no promises though).

Here, I'll give a list of some of the new stuff that's planned for the
update:

-New placeables (by Jezira)
-Headgear system - where you can put goggles and sunglasses on instead
of helmets (by Quantiko)
-The updated Starship Interior Tileset (by Goudea)
-Animation scripts - so people can just use the already made scripts
to play the animations (by Gulfwulf)
-GUI (it's mostly Quantiko's RE GUI but I've been making some changes
and stuff)
-Updated Heads hak - adds eye color to the heads, and lip color to
females, and eyebrow color to certain heads (a mixture of the updated
textures from Jez's Whitefall heads hak, and the rest not from that
pack are updated by me)
-1.69 and CEP 2.1 compatibility (of course)

And there's probably other stuff, but I don't know what it all is yet.

It does - I never did like Google Groups's thread system (or lack
thereof).

I've just tried out 1.69 - briefly in the Toolset, and also as a
player in HOTU, which I only just, for the first time, FINISHED. Lot
of fun, actually.

That is very exciting to hear the GUI work is continuing - I think
that would really make a difference in terms of player immersion, and
it's not so bad to do, based on the files I saw that need to be
changed.

As for a 1.69/CEP 2.1 upgrade, I can't be the one to do it. It's
frustrating, actually - I made a lot of progress when I did the Good
Versus Evil work, but it would just be a lot of time to get that info
shuffled into the rest of D20.

If I had one piece of advice there, it would be for whoever is
continuing it to start from the GVE hak work I released on the Vault.
It had a lot of bugs worked out in the classes and other systems -
SCRIPTS in particular were way better than before.

1.69 has some nifty stuff, particularly for a fantasy mod.
