Let's have a separate thread here for the Demon. It's a modified
trader-class starship. Durability (units of space) is 24 points for
those of you with a GM's Guide.

I'm putting a copy of the deckplans in the files section; it's
preliminary, and needs to be updated - OR if people want to draw up
their own, that's great. There should be 4 compartments - Crew,
Command, Engineering, and Cargo.
The ship has an oversized mass reactor that takes up a lot of space in
the Engineering compartment, as well as a costly stardrive that can
reach 10 LY's per starfall (each starfall takes 5 days, and you have
to recharge in-system for a few days between each). That gives it
twice the range of most civilian ships its size.

That comes at a cost - the Demon has no weapons or defensive systems
of any kind.

It does have crew quarters for 6 (ten people in a pinch), life support
for most compartments, and a Marginal-class computer.

Interestingly, it has a laboratory section (this needs to be added to
the deckplans), which provides working space for up to 4 people and an
Ordinary-class computer for science work.

All that leaves space for 5 units work of cargo, or 112 cubic meters,
4 units of which is unpressurized. The STARDRIVE, on the other hand,
can handle another 6 units of durability external to the ship.

Which brings us to Stephanie's character's fighter: it will use up
those 6 external points, plus some internals, hanging on to the Demon
during starfall. Essentially, it will tuck partially inside some of
the Demon's unpressurized cargo space and dock there.

I'm hoping there's a way to add a cot or something more comfortable for Blue Jay's daughter, Megan to sleep and hang out in their room at times.

Take a look at the deck plans and ship info I just put into the files
section - I think there's likely to be room for her:

Enjoy the ship info! I'll be uploading Blue Jay's fighter ship soon,
which does NOT have living space (just pressurization and enough seats
for two people).

I see 6 beds and 3 bedrooms, I'll take the bedroom with 2 beds for Blue Jay and Megan. Who's sleeping in the cargo hold? *grins*

That leaves room for Cy, Zackal, Nol, Jeff and Wolfgang to vy for the 4 remaining beds and 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has 3 beds and one is a single.

I think it's plain that the Captain gets the private room, seeing as I graciously gave up my state room for you and your kid.

Of course, Stephanie, whether you KEEP that room is up to your ability to negotiate with the other crew members.  I don't like to get involved in such things, I'm not that type of CO.

Not sure if Zackal's playing!  I haven't heard hide nor heard from him in a while - Zackal?

Jim doesn't mind sharing a room. A bunk's a bunk. In fact, a semi-
private room that sleeps three is fine by him. A bigger concern is the
ONE bathroom, especially with two women on board. I just hope Megan's
not a teenager... they practically live in the bathroom. Well, it
looks like there's no shower, so maybe the waiting line won't get too
long.
