how to call api using only javascript

i need to call api without using php and curl.

it just need to be using the js. 

can you suggest anything. its third party api. i dont have to use php . only javascript

Ignoring the fact that this is a php forum, what exactly stops you from using AJAX calls in order to consume the API ?
