* It is now possible to copy master door styles in the catalog
configurator.
* It is now possible to copy master subdivisions in the catalog
configurator.
* Bug: Order sold-to and ship-to address information was not being
displayed under some circumstances. Fixed.
* Changes to master catalog content are now screened and the user
prompted when additional actions are required to complete the
configuration of the new or changed content. For example, adding new
finishes will cause a message to be displayed reminding the users that
the new finishes must be configured in the applicable door styles
before the finishes will be available in orders.
* Bug: Line Item Wizard was not displaying product dimensions. Fixed.
* The Multi-Product Assistant now allows selection of the target
subdivision and applies the subdivision's defaults automatically.
* Optimization: Numerous improvements in the Master Door Style update
window, particularly the prices tab. Also, this window is now resizable
to facilitate better access to large numbers of finish colors.
* Optimization: The time required for loading of Spec-Group data in
the main order update window has been reduced by a factor of 50.
* Master Finish Color update window now includes a list which displays
the door styles with which the color is available.
* A sample MS SQL database is now available as an installation option
with both the Demo and Custom installation types. This sample database
includes numerous products and other catalog content and serves as a
training aid and example.
* It is now possible to control image enlargement (zooming) when using
the View Image window.
* Significant revisions have been made to the implementation of finish
locations as they relate to finish materials, door types, and door
styles.
+ Available finish specifications (prompts in orders) are
maintained at the master door type level. All door styles associated
with a given door type inherit that door type's finish specification
assignments.
+ The availability of each finish material is controlled in the
Master Finish Material update window. Finish specifications available
for use with a particular finish material are determined by the
"Exterior/Interior" and "Permitted Use" settings chosen for the finish
material.
+ Availability of specific colors in an order (Spec-Group) and
optional prices are controlled at the master door style.
* An image editor is now available from the Image Library update
window.
* Optimization: The upg.tps file used in dynamic database management is
now placed in a subdirectory of the file server's shared directory. The
subdirectory name is the same as the database name.
* Optimization: Additional verification of proper and complete licensed
user configuration is performed in both the Licensed User update window
and Setup Assistant window.
* Optimization: Order Statuses now support separate dealer and licensed
user quotes.
* Optimization: The main order relation tree window controls are now
resized properly when the window is resized, maximized, or restored.
* The main order relation tree window now allows user specified sorting
of clients and of orders.
* The main order relation tree window now provides the option of
drawing connecting lines and/or underlines in the order relation tree
in order to improve readability. These user preferences are located
under the heading This Window in the task bar.
* Additional records will now be added to new, empty databases in order
to facilitate faster setup.
* Numerous minor enhancements, bug fixes, and visual improvements.
