Hello!  If anyone would like to attend this healthcare forum in the Bronx this Saturday (Oct. 3), I can assure it will be highly informative.  Change.org healthcare blogger Tim Foley, Congressman Eliot Engel, as well as representatives from Organizing for America, the National Physicians Alliance, and NY Presbyterian will all be there.  I went to a similar forum in June (you can read what I learned here: http://food4thoughtandaction.blogspot.com/2009/06/state-of-us-healthcare-system.html) and can only bet this Saturday's will be a great update on the healthcare bill status.  I encourage you to go!  If you are interested in going and want more direction as to how to get there, email Jacki Fischer at jax.f...@gmail.com.

This is Jacki in Riverdale, Isaac introduced us- hopefully, you remember. Well, in response to the overwhelming need for "good" information about the health care reform bills in the making, we hurriedly put together a panel so people could ask their questions/express their concerns and get "good" information.
