Being a capital, mainly Islamabad is famous for Govt. Offices, Parliament House, and Diplomatic Enclaves & Foreign Embassies. Majority of the people living in Islamabad are Government employees. They do have social life in Islamabad but not as much like other cities. "The City" is a CNN special series that profiles the sustainable urban future of five cities over five days. Islamabad has been portrayed as the Second most unfriendly city in the world. The perception of Islamabad needs to be changed.
National Youth Parliament Pakistan and Knowledge City Islamabad team Under the supervision of Mr Asad Umar (MNA- NA48) has planned to organize SPRING FESTIVAL in F-9 Park on Sunday 30th March, 2014 for people of Islamabad to celebrate and be part of this cultural festival. The people of Islamabad will participate in kite flying competitions to herald the spring. Spring Festival is not only a kite flying event, but a cultural festival involving other cultural activities of Pakistan and the event will prove Islamabad Existence as one of the liveliest cities of Pakistan.
Further more Big Screen will set to watch PAKISTAN and Bangladesh Cricket match.
Chief Guest : Mr Asad Umar (MNA-NA48) will be the Chief Guest

Mahtab, I'm so happy that someone tried to make good use of F-9 park. We all should try to make such events successful irrespective of our political affiliations and profession. After all, we are citizens first. :))
