Just over a year after politics and events betting website Intrade shut down after falling foul of US regulators and amid solvency issues, Ron Bernstein, the company’s former chief executive and co-founder, is back.

Out of Intrade’s ashes, Mr Bernstein is launching another US-based sports betting website – Tradesports.com.
