HOW MUCH MORE LORD?

You can hold back the waves of the ocean
You can calm all the storms at sea
You can calm and abate any commotion
How much more will you settle storms in me?

You said not to worry about what I need for supply
For the birds neither plant seed or store food
Yet You feed them and they know how to fly
How much more will You give to me what is good?

You say not to worry about what I will wear
But to look at how the lilies in the field grow
You said Solomon's riches could not even compare
How much more will You clothe me from head to toe?

You said not to be anxious about anything
Worry can't add one unit of measure to my height
Nor add any minutes to the life span of my being
How much more will You take care of any plight?

Matthew 6:25-34
Our God is so faithful to do all that He told us in His Holy Bible. He tells us how and why we are not to worry. He tells us how to have faith. He tells us how to trust in Him. He assures us of His love for us.
When we look at God's Words and look at His created world and all that is in it, I wonder how we can still sometimes worry or doubt, yet we do. God takes care of the birds of the air and clothes the grass of the fields. God said we are worth more than birds, yet He keeps feeding them. How much more will He take care of us? We are part of God's creation and we are made of flesh but Jesus was flesh also and He conquered His flesh and paid the price so we can have all the peace and love and joy He gave us, plus He gave us the opportunity to have eternal life with Him.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
