Service availability question

Hi Support,

We would like to use the Google Apps, but found that we have to change
the MX record and SMTP outbound, so here are some service availability
question:

1. what is the availability of the other servers by Postini? Do they
have resilient servers similar to google "MX record"?

2. Where are these servers (e.g. in US, or worldwide) and what are the
support services?

3. Any online services agreement with the other company such as T&C
and data privacy & confidentiality?

4. Any charge for the services and any future support & charge? Any
guarantee of free bundle of this services for a period of time?

Google offers Google Apps Premier, Powered by Postini as well as
Google Message Security and Compliance services also powered by
Postini, for providing additional Postini services to your existing
mail servers. Premier is a combination of Google Apps, Gmail and
Postini Message Discovery with 90-day message retention.

As well as Google's own Gmail for use with Apps, Postini provides 7
global data centers and 14 redundant backup systems of its own and
uses multiple DNS services for MX.

Can you please clarify question 3 and the first part of 4?

4. Any guarantee of Postini service will be free bundle within Google
Apps?
Will this Google Apps become a chargeable service?

#4 Google Premier is a paid service, as is Google Security and
compliance services.

Google Apps is a broad description of offered services and not all are
going to be free. I highly doubt Google will provide any Postini at no
charge. Google IMO has the most competitive costs in the industry,
when it comes to message security services either with Google Premier
or the stand services of Message Security and Discovery.
