Not that we want to crash Westwood’s Party, but I would say, “consider yourself invited to, or even join, the parade” and come meet your neighbors!!!

Happy INDEPENDENCE DAY, If you’ve ever lived overseas, you’ll appreciate your freedoms so much more!

Hi everyone - just a reminder about our 4th of July parade on Sunday. Thanks again to all our volunteers. In addition to cold water, we will also have blueberry muffins and popsicles (thanks Eileen!). The weather looks great, so please join us.

If you can't make it to the party at Shrevewood ES, please come out along Fairwood and watch the parade go by. We will start around 9:30 am.

Thanks, and happy 4th everyone!

Hi neighbors,

After skipping it the past two years, we will have our annual 4th of July parade and party again this year. Here are the details:

- Sunday July 4th at 9:30 am, starting near Fairwood Lane and West Street

- Fire Department (assuming no emergencies) will lead the parade down Fairwood to Shrevewood ES

- Parade marchers and anyone on bikes will stay on the sidewalks

- WPCA will provide ice and water under the school entrance awning

For this year, we decided to move our party to the school entrance closer to the Fire trucks and under the large awning to provide some shade. We'll have iced water available, but decided to skip the watermelon and other snacks this year.

Please join us. Thank you to Jen Williams and Sam and Dawn Fratrin for helping out with this event!

We also plan to hold our annual Holiday party again this December, likely on Friday December 3 - look for more information on this later in the Fall.
