PHCA friends:

I have been contacted by, Jeremy, the Falls Hill (other side of Shreve) CA president.

Apparently FfxCo. Supervisor Palchick is looking for a PHCA contact.

"Hi Keith - is there a contact for someone at the civic association? Supervisor Palchick reached out looking for someone to connect with. I guess there is some ongoing planning related to a water issue near Buckelew/Tower St. "

Given myself, and all the "PHCA Officers" I served with no longer live in the neighborhood - I am hoping a few new or veteran residents might step up and fill some of the leadership roles.

Action Items:

1.  If interested in the tower, which I am sure many are - I suggest you form a group, choose a leader, and reach out to County Supervisor Palchick.

 2. While you are at it - there are President, VP, Treasurer & Secretary roles to fill for PHCA we/(you) still have a Webmaster, a website, a listserv and minimal funds.  I am happy to show for a final formal/informal meeting and share what I gleaned from being a PHCA leader for the last 15+ years with the next generation.

I'm willing to be a contact for Supervisor Palchick for the Tower issue.  I live on Buckelew and my property is across from the tower.  Should I reach out to her directly?

I received your email since we both belong to an organization.  I suspect PHRA but that should not be important.  We live in the City of Falls Church but belong to PHRA.  It is possible that PHRA and PHCA are the same but this is not important.  I am a Past president of  PHRA and I think I understand the various organizations of the local area (to the extent that I understand why the City of FAlls Church is not part of Fairfax County.  (An unfortunate history of Racial issues.)   I am a displaced New Englander who came here for a good Federal position and managed to stay in that Job until i retired.  (Actually, my position kept changing as needs changed and I adapted.)  I am interested in area issues so we may have common interests.
