[Celtic ferret]

Live Journal is a blog community. Among the journals is one I joined
devoted to ferrets. I went on to describe having 3 terminally ill
ferrets, a 4th visit to the vet in 2 wks for unexplained weight loss
and all the related costs of having to visit the vet and have 2 dental
surgeries done in a 2 wk period.

I got a post saying someone would accuse me of grandstanding after
posting all the vet and cage related costs. So far it hasn't happened.

All I could think was how high school. While many of the posters are
in high school, the whole high school attitude belongs safely buried.
What am I doing? Playing my ferret is sicker than your ferret.

If I had less ferrets, maybe my vet bills would be lower and maybe not.
We can all agree we shouldn't have more ferrets than the vet bill we
can afford to pay for them.

I agree Celtic. I hardly post because of that reason.Can't we all just get along, after all its for the ferrets?

Kathy,It took me creating a separate bank account to figure in with all
the expenses for age-related illness in my ferrets, such as adrenal
tumors and insulinomas. I advise everyone do so, and to keep it
strictly for the ferrets, as their treatments still come at "exotic"
prices. J

Hi Kathy , How have you been ? I see that you have been up to your
eyebrows in sick babys . Sometimes i wonder about people sometimes.I'm
still wondering if so called grown ups really grow up .lolbest wishes i
