Should task list be cleared each day?

I'm fairly new to this interesting technique, but have a hard time
figuring out how to populate the task list.

Should I only put in tasks that I believe can be completed the same
day, even if a certain task would span to the next day?

And should I clear the task list each day and rebuild it the next to
contain the tasks I expect to do that day?

Perhaps this is more a Pomodori technique question than related to the
tool?
