Marie Huchzermeyer is a leading expert on informal settlements and has
published two books on the topic in the past year: Tenement Cities-  From
19th Century Berlin to 21st Century Nairobi; and Cities with 'Slums': From
Informal Settlement Eradication to a Right to the City in Africa.
