Perhaps we can begin by introducing ourselves a bit and saying what our
interest is to this fascinating area: political psychology.
I am interested both in psychological aspects of our leaders; but also
how government, policy, media, etc impacts on each of us. In other
words how does what happens at the governmental level impact us,
psychologically.
I am 44 and I live in New Jersey. I am a registered Green and ran for
the Senate in 2003. I am also a mental health professional.

Just to introduce myself:
My name is Tim McClure and I live in Corsicana, Texas.
I am not a "Bushite," nor a Democrat. I am just a moderate with
different opinions on different issues.
I really like the idea of this group and I hope it turns out to be a
large and successful one.
Talk to you soon!

I'm Barbara, actually -- from New Jersey --
I'm a liberal --
But, no longer voting for Democrats when I can avoid it --
And, also unhappy with the Greens' treatment of Nader and their
offering of Cobb --
I hope that Americans are becoming more political --
and I think this takes a person-to-person effort --
I don't think we have to believe everything we hear --
but I think everyone should have an open mind to most issues --
And that religious interference with government in the past decades is
creating a threat to democracy --
