The Human Rights charter was designed to protect the MINORITY from the
tyranny of the MAJORITY!! In the last few decades we have seen that
economics (increasingly controlled by a smaller minority) has
gradually started to control the policies that determine the "level of
exploitation and protection of human rights of the majority".

The last decade and the new millennium has also seen a Non Linear
trend and a deterioration (clearly unintended) within democratic
societies; where now "fringe minorities and small numbers threaten the
human rights and lifestyle of the majority through terror and
violence". Even in global politics we see that the majority of
citizens seem to be split down the middle, AND coalitions are forced
to bring in the "fringe minority" that in turn influence government
policy.
