I've got some audio to share. Stuff i don't wanna put in a podcast. I'm
wondering what anyone would recommend as a free audio file host, like
flickr or youTube for photos and video.

Thoughts?

Not sure if it qualifies as an equivalent, but you could try
archive.org. You would have to be willing to put it under a creative
commons license with some rights reserved or in the public domain.

Host it at your ISP?

Technically that's a fine solution, however, what sites like flickr
and blip.tv offer are the social networking add-ons like tagging
which are nice to have. My understanding is you can host video or
audio on blip.tv.

www.podshow.com offers this ability. It's new and not quite there yet, but it's one option worth exploring. Be sure to read the terms and conditions so that your comfortable with them before uploading (good advice for ANY service).

I'm curious about something, in Podshow's agreement I can't find a
termination clause, it seems like I'm granting a license in perpetuity
to Podshow, while in the blip.tv agreement it states that "when you
do remove your content, the license described above will automatically
expire."

Can anyone offer a clarification? Am I interpreting this correctly?
I'm granting Podshow a license forever, yet with blip.tv I'm only
granting them a license for the time my materials are actually on their
servers.

I'm not looking for any form of legal advice whatsoever, just a casual
opinion. I wonder if I'm reading the differences right.

Cheers,
