Garden Update: Penfield Driving Concern

Penfield Gardeners,

A reminder that we do not have permission to drive into Melissa L. Penfield Park. Gardeners should park and walk to the garden.

We've become aware that city workers are taking this more seriously and that those who drive to the garden may be ticketed.

We also have had an interruption in our supply of wood chips. If you have been unable to renew your aisles and are awaiting chips, please be patient and, in the meantime, pull larger weeds from the pathways.

And finally, a reminder that we need help Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon or a bit later at our street drive fundraiser. Park in the Hawkins Hall lot and find us in the intersection of Cornelia and Beekman streets.
